malnourished
With images that originated from other students, Dylan Leipold (@dylanslines) and I created the “Malnourished” magazine, a music video in print with the concept of memory loss. We used the song “Wusyaname” by Tyler the Creator.

The song “Wusyaname” is from Tyler's album “Call Me If You Get Lost”. Dylan and I decided to take this and push the ‘lost’ part. The magazine starts with sensical lyrics and is understandable, but as you go deeper into it, it starts making less and less sense as you are delving into this insanity.
All pages were made using images that other students took during their winter break. We scanned a lot of things we would find around campus, crumpled-up paper, burned paper, used dry-erase markers on the board, gummy fish, and anything we could think of.
We fixed all the pages together with one singular thick screw and a socket, not only because it had this affable customization ability to spread the pages into a spiral to really delve into that spiraling of the mind, but because you can screw it off and have the pages get lost, fall out, mix up, like the story the magazine follows.
